So on November 16, 2009 I will participate to the 1st\u00a0Creative Commons<\/a> Salon\u00a0in the Arab World, in Jordan, Amman. Many artists, bloggers and entrepreneurs will be presenting their work and sharing their CC experience. For more details click here<\/a>. I should be back on Wed. Until then, I’m going to miss you!!!!!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Here’s a summary of the event (that I took from here<\/a>):<\/p>\n

On the\u00a016th <\/span><\/em>Creative Commons<\/span><\/em><\/a> will celebrate the first ever<\/span><\/em> CC Arab Salon.<\/span><\/em><\/a> Event is due to kick off at\u00a06pm @Al Balad Theatre in Downtown Amman.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Salon will feature\u00a0media organisations,artists,\u00a0bloggers and creative people from the Arab world who have used CC licenses and would like to share the results of opening up their work.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Amman Salon is going to be a major step going towards fostering the creation of original Arabic content and encouraging the people to share it with the entire world.\u00a0 To this extent, the enthusiastic support of the<\/span><\/em> Royal Film Commission<\/span><\/em><\/a>who is co-organising the event under the Royal Patronage of<\/span><\/em> Prince Ali bin al Hussein<\/span><\/em><\/a> has been extremely key and encouraging.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
