Many people have been asking me about my opinion regarding the flotilla. Well, here it is. Deforming reality has limits and the world population isn’t 100% stupid to believe all the lies about the ‘weapons’ aboard the flotilla ships. I hope this will not be forgotten in 2 days like what usually happens in the online scene. For 2 days, everyone tweets and blogs heavily about the issue only to completely forget it few days later. In relation to that, here’s Bob Dylan’s amazing ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’.

In other news, if you’re around Tripoli, pass by City Complex this afternoon at 6PM. I’ll be signing my book there at the opening of Amalgame exhibition! See you there 🙂

    Have a lovely day!

  • Making-of Meedan video

    meedan video storyboard

I was approached by Meedan to design/animate a short video explaining the concept behind the website “in plain English” and “in plain Arabic”. A BIG thank you goes to the lovely Mohammad Kayali (from Hyperlink Podcast) who recorded the sound & translated the text to Arabic on a very short notice, and to SMEX Beirut for providing me with the flip cam to do the video recording. Here’s the outcome in English!

And on another note, what’s a Monday morning without some music! Here’s the Beatles’ Here Comes the Sun.

In other news, this blog was happily selected to be Blog of the Week on Lebanon Aggregator because next week we’re turning 1 year old! So happy about it! Thank you so much! 🙂

    Have a great week 🙂

I was dreaming about how my perfect Lebanon would be. Can we survive without politicians and without the millions of lingerie billboards? Slowly I realized that what would be the perfect lebanon for me might be a nightmare for other Lebanese. Maybe it”s better to keep a mess as it is rather than complicating it more. It seems that those “problems” are so engrained in our lives that they have become an essential/constructive part. And that was the thought for today! 🙂 Have a great week!

Summer is coming soon, and we all need to fit into last year’s swimming suits so it’s the season for sports! It’s  such a pity I had the intention of never stepping in a gym for the rest of my life, because it’s just another system to follow and we already have enough rules… But unfortunately, I think I might be obliged to do so urgently. I was breathless at climbing the stairs to our FIRST FLOOR office this morning… This is serious… And no time for walks or runs in the countryside… What other alternative than the gym machines???
