Just when I thought I had enough problems for one day! Sometimes I’m glad I’m not armed, because I would’ve had an appropriate answer to the “ma twekhzina danzelle” when Lello got to his car. I can’t stand it when visitors of the building block the way out for other cars, I’ve been through this countless times! Anyway, I wish you all a beautiful autumnal day! 🙂

  • Business is business

When I read Qussa’s post about how women are treated when dealing with men in Lebanon in different places, I remembered a story  that happened with me around 2 years ago when I was still in college and had just started freelancing.

Now I know this is much less serious than the issues tackled in the article, but it still shows how women are often badly treated in the workplace simply based on their sex and not on their potential. I refuse to believe as many might say that this is human nature and that a woman will always be judged on her appearance and not on her work. I hope this aspect will change with time…

Don”t worry I don”t get the way some people think either! I wonder if it”s our profession that”s always underestimated, or if this is just the way Lebanese downlond free games do business. I also wonder why I still deal with the likes of her!! Need to draw a line at human rights infringements of the sort…

In other news, go see what we”re cooking on Maw2af.org. We tested our election-meter on Iranian Election!! Click here to see the results…

I have a pretty bad history (and luck) with ATMs. Today was the pinnacle. I went to three ATMs in a row, at a time where I badly needed money to pay for the gasoline, otherwise my car would stop in place and I would be late to the (going-to-be-boring) meeting, and not one was working properly, and I don’t think there were other ATMs in the region.  Hope you have a lovely day for a change! 😀
