I was dreaming about how my perfect Lebanon would be. Can we survive without politicians and without the millions of lingerie billboards? Slowly I realized that what would be the perfect lebanon for me might be a nightmare for other Lebanese. Maybe it”s better to keep a mess as it is rather than complicating it more. It seems that those “problems” are so engrained in our lives that they have become an essential/constructive part. And that was the thought for today! 🙂 Have a great week!

We waited, what? 10 years for DSL! (I wasn’t even in Leb yet and hearing people talking about the arrival of DSL). Well maybe it wasn’t thought of that DSL needs electricity, and we have SERIOUS electricity problems. I don’t know if it’s summer effect, but I feel that lately rationing has become irrational! No lights at night, sometimes 12 consecutive hours of rationing and more! I hear people talking about simple solutions to the problem… Such as using the energy from the “jabal zbeleh” and such things. I hope that someone will act about it soon! Until then, I wish you a bright and happy day ! 🙂

As I told you before, we are moving office! Well, we’re not going far, I’ll tell you in the next post all about the new office, so stay tuned! 🙂 The whole experience of moving was a challenging procedure, to find bags, to empty everything and then to PACK the HEAVY stuff we have. I feel all in shape now 😛 . It’s funny how much stuff a room can accumulate over two years! Take some time to look around you and count what you have around you. You’ll realize how much you’re missing!

With this, I wish you all a lovely sunny week-end  🙂 see you monday! 😉

Last week the electricity went off for about an hour and a half in a row… I’m not complaining! That was a very timely break from the screen. I noticed that in this aspect of our work (only able to complete it using the computer), electrical rationing can be quite useful! It’s true that 8 hours a day (minimum) in front of the computer screen can be quite frustrating, but at least in Lebanon we get the breaks we deserve!

P.S. Please do forgive me if I’m a bit slower in posting this week, I’m sooo overloaded with work, and doing my best to finish ASAP to get back to YOU!
