Anyone else here fed up with the World Cup? Is it wrong that I don’t have the slighest interest in football? :'( I feel like an outcast. Can’t wait for the final game and the whole thing to be over. Anyway, here’s a song to keep you entertained, if like me, you don’t care neither about the vuvuzelas, nor about Messi! I’ve been hearing it on the radio and I liked it a lot: Satellite, by Lena Meyer Landrut. Have a nice day πŸ™‚

Looks like ‘green‘ is the trend these days. No, not the Marada green, the other environment protection one. After UNESCO threatened to drop the Qadisha Valley from World Heritage List, the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon felt compelled to bombard us with radio ads about the preservation of Environment. Oh and I got stopped in the street by Greenpeace activists. Let’s hope all of this will last or at least give effect!

Here’s the amazing amazing ‘Fever’ sang by Peggy Lee.

Have a great weekend everyone πŸ™‚

  • Alternatives to Skype in Lebanon

The latest collaboration with the amazing Qifa Nabki! See what he says about the latest law aiming at stopping all VoIP [voice over IP] in Lebanon.

The good news is that this law has been postponed for a month. Now we need to act on modifying it properly. Let us not lose hope… I can see clearly now, the rain has gone πŸ™‚

So this law is supposed to get signed tomorrow, and we have to stop it! How can you help?

    β€’ Facebook page

β€’ More info about it on SMEX website [they are working very actively to stop this law]

β€’ Follow #stopthislaw hashtag on Twitter

    β€’ Spread the word!

β€’ Oh and check the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications website to balance the importance/need of a new law/ vs. Internet quality and presence improvement urgency, in the 4th slowest country in the world in upload speed.

You can see previous Internet naggings I’ve done here & here.

Other than that, I wish you a beautiful week. Here’s U2’s Stuck In a Moment. Enjoy πŸ™‚

A tentative to smile after every trouble. I’m trying to solve some issues of life, which as you might have noticed is affecting the regularity of posting. I hope I’ll be posting more again soon enough! Have a hopeful day πŸ™‚ Here’s Keith Jarrett’s My Wild Irish Rose

Many people have been asking me about my opinion regarding the flotilla. Well, here it is. Deforming reality has limits and the world population isn’t 100% stupid to believe all the lies about the ‘weapons’ aboard the flotilla ships. I hope this will not be forgotten in 2 days like what usually happens in the online scene. For 2 days, everyone tweets and blogs heavily about the issue only to completely forget it few days later. In relation to that, here’s Bob Dylan’s amazing ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’.

In other news, if you’re around Tripoli, pass by City Complex this afternoon at 6PM. I’ll be signing my book there at the opening of Amalgame exhibition! See you there πŸ™‚

    Have a lovely day!

I guess that I’ve been feeling in dire need of more and more time everyday to finish all the things I want to do. So I decided to make the most of all those hours wasted everyday because of glitches in our daily life! I won’t comment about that I’m slow in posting, because a blog is just like a person, sometimes just too busy, sometimes too moody to post every other day, so I hope you understand! πŸ™‚

And here’s the positivity-spreading, day-brightening ‘Here Comes The Sun’ by the Beatles–can’t get enough of this song! Have a lovely day πŸ™‚

  • Wisdom on a flight

A story I remembered and drew during the flight to Geneva! Why am I going to Geneva, you ask? Here’s why.Β I’ll be participating to this discussion/round table with Cafe Thawra and other bloggers. If you’re around Geneva, pass by – I’ll also be signing my book!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m taking the next week off! Will miss you guys very dearly! πŸ™‚ See you soon!
