Easy on the perfumes lady! Perfumes smell great when used in reasonable doses. They add a special mysterious scent to people. However, sometimes, some people forget to read the instructions on how to use perfumes, and puff the whole bottle to show how distinguished they are. I’m not sure anymore which smells better: insecticide or overused perfume! With this, I wish you a lovely saturday! 😀
And the next day I came to work to find out that he removed it… men! If you think about what the lebanese society’s obsession inflicts on humans who are born women on the “socially-acceptable-beauty” level and compare it to what it inflicts on men, you find yet another proof of gender unfairness… Anyway, let’s not worry about that now. We recorded the answering machine for the new office yesterday. Don’t ask why but I just love voicing it! We should all learn to enjoy the simplest things that happen with us during the day. I think it is the simple things that make us happy for a small while that are the most important… Anyway I’m getting philosophical now, I’ll leave you back to your business! Have a lovely day 😀
Now that’s a sad truth! But I had to have coffee today otherwise I wouldn’t have made it through the day. But I promise that it’s the last time… 😀 Really this time 😛 I’ll go back to green tea and apples and all the lovely suggestions you so generously proposed when I took the decision of stopping coffee. I still can’t believe what a story I had to wake up to this morning! The good thing is that it had a better effect in waking me up than the alarm I had already snoozed 10 times. But what I can’t understand is how our dear concierge was able to miss the car parked right in front of his door (as it is most of the days) and think that another Toyota Yaris was actually mine! I mean OK there are a lot of Yarises, but mine was in its right location all calm and waiting for me! Funny how UN-focused people can be sometimes … Keeps amazing me … With the hope that your mornings will be merrier than this one, I wish you a lovely day 😀
Oh I forgot to mention a small detail: the office size is about double, and that’s the *real* reason why we moved. Anyway, I will be broadcasting to you from the new office starting this week! Things should get back on track in the coming days hopefully: we should get the phone, get internet… and get used to the new setting! With this, I wish you all a lovely week 🙂
As I told you before, we are moving office! Well, we’re not going far, I’ll tell you in the next post all about the new office, so stay tuned! 🙂 The whole experience of moving was a challenging procedure, to find bags, to empty everything and then to PACK the HEAVY stuff we have. I feel all in shape now 😛 . It’s funny how much stuff a room can accumulate over two years! Take some time to look around you and count what you have around you. I can’t hear about shootings in Beirut anymore. I can’t hear about the reasons behind the shootings anymore. We’re just going back to where we were few months ago. We keep going back to past situations. Will we ever learn from our mistakes? I had hope, but I’m starting to doubt it… Are the Lebanese really that STUPID? I’m sorry to start the week with such a pessimistic tone, but I’m really worried and depressed from the current situation in Lebanon. I bet I’m not the only one.
On my way out from the hairdresser’s I was seized by a panic shock when I bumped into a biiiig tall lady doing mèche and coloring her eyebrows in red at the same time, whatever they call it. I observed her for a while, wondering if we placed her exactly the way she looked in another setting, such as fancy party, how beautiful would she look? Funny if you think about the process it takes to “look beautiful” …
Don”t worry I don”t get the way some people think either! I wonder if it”s our profession that”s always underestimated, or if this is just the way Lebanese downlond free games do business. I also wonder why I still deal with the likes of her!! Need to draw a line at human rights infringements of the sort…
