Here I am, paying the tough price of having a public blog ;)Lesson: study well the content of your posts before posting them! And if you’ve been ditching the blog and want to know what the previous post is about, all you have to do is scroll down, down, down, and click on “Older entries” to the left. 😀
Have a lovely day!
Always think twice of the consequences before answering! Well what can I say, freelancing is a tough teacher 😀 Specially regarding fiscal issues. What is sure is that I will never accept barter again. I’m sure them phoenicians invented money for a very necessary reason!
(P.S. I know someone who’d take the chicken! ;))
Sometimes being a designer can be very enriching: we work on the design of books about science, technology, history, and thus we learn a lot. But the REAL torture is actually having to work on a book about vacation and relaxation places while you’re stuck home on a friday night. The visuals of SPA, and COTTAGES, and and.. can actually have a damaging impact on your mental health. I was this close of jumping from the balcony. This only means one thing: I am going to need a real vacation real soon!
It’s all relative. Sometimes making the dishes can seem like an annoying task. BUT… Other times its the only escape from a major ordeal.
As you can see, we got pretty bad news at work today.. Wish us luck (again) with this never-ending eternal project…
Now you can see why I absolutely love working freelance with (a portion of) lebanese clients. Total professionalism, total awareness of market prices… I’ve tried all ways to get fair offers compared to the amount of work. Let’s say it seldom happens !
Being the only graphic designer in the whole wide family is not always an advantage I must say… It is nice to help others from time to time – when “others” KNOW their LIMITS!! 😀
