I might have a list of things I *do miss* about full-time jobs, I’ll let you know once I start missing something 😉 Hope you’re all having a lovely Monday, however and wherever you’re spending it. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Diana Krall (and remembering her amazing concert in Beiteddine last summer)… Here’s one of her beautiful stuff, enjoy! 🙂

Haha! good to know, I never had a chance to experience that :O Yalla, in a couple of month, I expect:

One thing I hate about being self employed: Sleeping hours totally screwed up…
PS: I woke up yesterday at 5pm, still awake, estimated time to go to bed is: N/A…

Wow yeah. Hell yeah. Add to that the stupid employee talk about how horrible our superiors are and how boring our jobs are, and the feeling that you are stuck so far as your lifeline is concerned, which really echoes feeling number 4. I often remembered ABBA’s ‘The Day Before You Came’ when thinking about my life back then.

By the way, it is true that there should have been a miss list, but since I am still in the rebound stage, I don’t even want to acknowledge that.

    Hello There 🙂
welcome to the free world??? Does it exist ?
Maya, your post came just in time to shake things up for me. Yes, I do hate Sunday evenings because I do think about going to work, and Yes, I hate to wake up every morning very early to go to work and yes, I hate spending long never ending hours in the office thinking that my life and my work have no meaning what so ever.
Why do we make ourselves do these things ? Why do we try convince ourselves that we need to work and most dramatically “why do we convince ourselves that we need “this” &#@*)^ job”?
    Have a great day 🙂
( Sorry if I sound angry or upset or anything).

Spot on! But some people need the routine in their life, even if they absolutely hate it! However, I am of the personal opinion that people should be able to leave and go home as soon as they finish their tasks for the day.!! Good luck with your future endeavors..we all envy you!

You forgot the “food coma” after lunch!

Oh. If everyone worked half time the world would be a better place. 1. you could spend your time doing things you wanted to do- not things you needed to do. 2. less unemployment- enough jobs for everyone! 3. everybody just has to earn a bit less- what do we really use our money for? since we work so much we don’t have time to do activities, so we buy stuff. do bought stuff make us happy? work more–> earn more–> buy more, work more–> produce more things we don’t need–> so we can buy them with the money we made when we wasted our lives working. 4. the way we do it now, work and produce things we don’t need, is THE environment killer.

relax, lean back, spend some time at home, or somewhere else than at work. time over to MAKE things instead of buying things (like food and clothes)- have a more creative life the way you want it. grow your food. shape your life.

    That’s what I think!
