SAMNEH W 3ASAL – a poster exhibition by Maya Zankoul

All artwork below is currently exhibited at Tawlet Souk el Tayeb in Beirut.

Samneh w 3asal is a mezza of illustrations. It is a journey through Lebanese cuisine and food culture using lines, shapes and colors. It is a celebration of the beauty and richness of the Lebanese table that we have inherited, and how it is being adapted to our modern life.

Samneh w 3asal is made of 16 illustrated posters of different sizes and shapes (just like a typical Lebanese lunch) full of drawings and, of course, the trademark illustrated sarcasm of artist Maya Zankoul.
