    Happy New Year to you too Maya. 2010 was indeed a great year, full of successes and losses.

    And btw, the song says: “Lei bet2asser tannoura”… Lei and not “w hiyye”.
    This clearly shows how much you’re interested in such music 😉 (Fares el a7lem, Ali el djeje, Al rakissa Sedr wala akbar :P…)

      Fares el a7lem, Ali el djeje, Al rakissa Sedr wala akbar… translates literally to:
      Knight of dreams (“Fares” = knight happens to be the name of a popular singer)
      Ali the chicken (Ali is the first name of a very popular folk singer, family name “Deek” = rooster)
      The belly dancer “breasts which there couldn’t be any bigger” (entirely used as a name)
