I have just read your post and I still don’t know what to think. I wish you best of luck in everything you do. You deserve all the best.
Is it “writer’s block”? Is it too much work? Is it some people’s comments? What happened?
May I advise you to take it easy on yourself because life is too short? May I beg you not to silence the “writer-illustrator’s voice” in you?

I’m very sorry to see that you’ll be ending the blog, but it is your decision: you should only spend time on blogging if you get something out of it.
I agree with Zeina’s comment: please don’t abandon your “writer-illustrating”, even if you do it in other places than the blog. And in case you decide to post anything on the blog we are all still subsribed

Why do we always think that things will last forever?
These mornings in Beirut Graphics, when I would arrive at 8.45h, always 15 minutes late, and I would open my four accounts to check them, plus your blog, plus the German euronews, plus the bag of peanuts.
Then, at 9.30h, my art director would come and I would close everything and would pretend to work.
Now that I do not work in a place that I loathe, suddenly my time became too precious for a peanut morning, and my schedule too unpredictable, and I forgot about the German euronews and you posted less.
My God. Nothing remains of these mornings, really.
When you quit your job to establish your own, I did too. I thought that I was going to retain you from these mornings – wrong answer. I am just fascinated that your blog died exactly when these mornings did, and now I will always associate the one with the other.
I have just been hyper-dramatic, but besides that, I have also discovered that for me, you were a morning. It sounds poetic, but it also talks of a strong egoism. For us, the other is nothing other than our morning.
