In case you don’t know, this saying means “run from him, he will follow you”.

So my darlings, I’ve missed you so much, and I’ve missed doing those posts that I just do for the fun of it! Since a lot of you has been asking me about the slowness in posting such posts, well, I have to tell you that it’s 4:30 am when I posting this, and I just had to do it after I finished the huge load of work that I had for the day. I have A LOT of work in the horizon, so I’m sorry if I don’t post as often as I used to. Have a bright day unstalked by taxi drivers! :) Grr can’t take a walk without at least 3 services honking to ask me if I want a ride. Well, NO! Because if I wanted one, I would be telling you! Uft!

LOOOL!! Amazing! I’ve been in Beirut for three days now, and all I can hear from my apartment (on the freakish 8th floor of our small street perpendicular to Hamra) are HONKS HONKS HONKS!! Guys, if we need a ride, believe me, we’ll be the ones jumping up and down calling for you!! ;)

Nice illustration (as usual ;) well done!)

the service is a retarded concept anyway, why can’t we like “normal” countries, and have taxis only?? half of the bad traffic in beirut is because of services stopping every 20 meters.

Well, yeah this is soo true.
And yaret ya maya you illustrate people while trying to cross a zebra crossing(rare but they exist), and how drivers get pissed of them, instead of respecting their rights and letting them pass.

One of my favorite posts yet! When I was in Beirut this summer I really wanted to tell some Service drivers about a little system we’ve worked out in NYC where you put your hand up and shout “Taxi!” when you want a ride. It works like a charm. Alas my Arabic wasn’t up to par :D

    Bises
