First, I’d like to thank you all for your lovely comments on yesterday’s post! You made my day… As for the style, well I felt like experimenting a bit as I had been advised many times by people (who will recognize themselves icon razz Wedding bells ) I wish I had more time to do so more often… In all cases, I had to go to this wedding, and got to observe the attendees, and that was my report about it! Lebanese weddings are special! Not to mention the zaffeh creativity (hawaiian zaffeh, mexican zaffeh…) the who-spends-more-on-their-wedding competition, etc. I hope I’ll have time to get in more details into this issue soon. Until then, have a lovely day icon smile Wedding bells

Honestly Lebanese girls in general are so shallow, and they do it simply because they are: Soit belle et tait toi.
Am not sure if I lost my French, lol
    Great post by the way

no way! I’m actually put off by women who go all out. It is intimidating and scary! Then again I’ve never been judged by what I wear nor have I been in a fashion contest I can imagine it can get pretty intense especially if you have nothing else to do! *cough*Housewife*cough*

hahaha nice one, I actually went to my cousin’s wedding wearing a jeans and a t-shirt, and never felt bad at all… I only wore a suit twice in my life, on my graduation and on my wedding, and hope I never wear one again…

This illustration says it all Maya! you did the right thing. i wish all lebanese women will follow ur steps when attending a wedding. people tend to forget the main AIM behind a wedding :) . Some women look real scary and witch-like in weddings. no more simplicity in this society. It is good we have people like you. Since you were in your skin, i bet you turned heads more than others who spent hours Decorating themselves lol.
    Good day

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I LOVE how you draw the girls!!!! C’est tellement ça!!! Such huge layers of foundation, all boobs out and 30 kg dresses… Who’s ever gonna tell these girls they’d be so much prettier without all of that? Think Coco Chanel ladies…

Man, looking like this should be made illegal! A Lebanese wedding resembles an International Clown Reunion…and some of them are really scary.
