7 good morning lebanon Spick and Span

Now the sad reality is that I did this post to try to motivate myself to do the trimestrial desk cleaning. I realized on this special morning that I don’t have space to place my hands on the desk anymore, and the desk is quite large in size! So let’s get to work… Hope that I’ll really feel that relaxed when i finish the cleaning!! Have a great day icon smile Spick and Span

Yes this is a true story. Happened today on my way home after an endless day of work and meetings… It’s really ironic how we lose evident objects that are in our hands or that we just placed in front of our eyes. This little detail shows how much we can be missing from things happening around us, while ‘mentally’ focused on other issues. Sad reality, the human brain.

7 some signity Walking observations

if you walk in public areas i’m sure you spotted one of those 2 scenarios…  First and foremost the maid abuse issue. I am against this whole system of bringing foreign people to work in such unfair conditions, let alone making her follow Mr. and Daughter while they jog, so that when they are thirsty the water is right behind them. Second, I really laugh at the way some women dress when they walk or jog in public places. I mean, easy on the sex-appeal!

Anyway, after all, walking is a way of self expression and each person’s interpretation is only subjective! icon smile Walking observations

I’m having the chance to work on a top-secret project (that i’ll be revealing to you super-soon!) and I must say that I finally found someone in Lebanon who KNOWS how to deal with graphic designers and who actually believes that their job requires expertise in the domain. The problem of working in Lebanon (and in fields requiring visual communication such as architecture, interior design, fashion  design …) is that all the citizens think those jobs require ‘zo2′ meaning taste, and are not a matter of expertise or experience…  Besides, I always get comments implying that our job is overrated, that it is all about doing some coloring and drawing… So to all of you potential graphic-design-clients out there, learn from the above example and stop taking our profession lightly.
